October Meeting of the West Central Georgia Flying Club

Meeting was called to order by President Doug Doran @ 7:00 PM

Nine members were present.

Minutes were read and accepted.

Jeff talked about info on Toys for Tots Day at the Airport He had talked to Hazel and it will be held on Dec. 4^th, 2004

Conrad discussed Moody MOA and night flying in the area.

Also discussed low altitude radar covering most of the United States and the need to file a flight plan and to use Flight following.

Discussed next months meeting and the election of officers for the coming year.

Doug discussed squawks and the need to placard the plane for grounding if repairs are needed and plane is unsafe to fly.

Also discussed was the need to only use seven quarts of oil in engine.

And make sure to leave oil in the plane. And to call FBO after hours and leave message on machine to top off and the need for oil.
