Replacement or rebuilding the plane's engine was discussed at length.  The cost to rebuild was estimated to be between $10,000 and $11,000.  A remanufactured engine was estimated to be about $14,000.

Decision was made to defer rebuild or remanufactured engine decision until oil analysis was performed.  If oil sample checks OK, we will continue flying until overhaul time.  We will have oil analysis performed each time oil is changed and also have compression check done.

When engine is rebuilt or replaced, prop will be checked to determine if it needs to be reconditioned. It will also be a good time to recover the seats.

A suggestion was made that each club member make a "wish list" to decide what other things the club may want to do.
