The purpose of this Club is to provide its members with social co-mingling, recreation, education in the art of flying aircraft, to provide education in flight safety,  to support general aviation and to encourage the use of general aviation aircraft by pilots and non-pilots alike, to support and encourage the use of general aviation aircraft by the public for both business and pleasure, to encourage members and non-members to become active pilots and to improve and enhance their pilot skills and training, and to provide general aviation aircraft to members of the corporation at a non-profit rate.  It being intended that said club shall provide its members with the above without any monetary gain or profit to any of its members.

Friends and Family Plan for WCGFC
Here is a breakdown for the Friends and Family program that was adopted at the September Board of Directors meeting. Please note that these rates are effective March 1, 2008. (There is a rate increase for flight hours) If you have any questions, please contact a board member.
 

ReguIar Members:
Members may join as full members that will allow them to enjoy the following rates:
Monthly dues: $70.00 per month
Flight Hours: $65.00 per hour
Joining Fee: $500.00
 

Friends
Members in good standing can “Sponsor” two friends that will allow them to be members and enjoy the following rates:
Monthly dues: $30.00 per month
Flight Hours: $80.00 per hour
Joining Fee: $200.00
Note: This is to encourage our current members to remain full members and yet give our infrequent members to reduce their monthly cost, but still be able to fly when they need to.
 

Family
Members in good standing may “Sponsor” any immediate family member and have them enjoy the following rates:
Monthly dues: $30.00 per month
Flight hours: $80.00 per hour
Joining Fee: $200.00
Note: The Board has the final say as to who qualifies as immediate family. A sponsor may petition the Board for approval.
 

Students:
Students may join at either as a regular member or a friend or family member. They enjoy the following rates:
Monthly dues: Dependent on the program.
Flight hours: Dependent on the program
